Meet Jerry Wright and Judith Wright

Former collegiate basketball coach Jerold Taylor Wright Jr. From 2001 until 2022 was the head coach at Villanova University.

In his 21 seasons as head coach, Wright guided Villanova to six Big East Conference championships and 16 NCAA Tournament berths.

Wright is universally acknowledged as one of the top coaches in NCAA history and was inducted as a part of the 2021 class into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

He was once the head coach at Hofstra University (1994–2001), where he took the school to NCAA Tournament berths in 2000 and 2001.

Currently, Wright is married to Patrica Wright with 3 children; Reilly, Taylor, and Colin.

Wright is a winner of The Runway to the Fashionable Four in college basketball from 1998 until 2002.
